There is another 2025 NFL Draft prospect with connections to D1 to root for this weekend. 

His name is Jackson Woodard and he has been training at D1 Little Rock. 

Here are a few fast facts about him:

• Jackson is a linebacker and spent the last two seasons at UNLV. He was named the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year.

• He grew up in Little Rock, Ark., and spent his first three collegiate seasons at Arkansas.

• After the 2024 season, Jackson was invited to the NFL Scouting Combine and is considered to be among the top 20-30 linebacker prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft class.

• All 32 NFL teams had representatives at UNLV's Pro Day to watch Jackson Woodard perform. 

• At D1 Little Rock, Jackson has been working with coach Kasey Johnson three times a week, focusing on position work and conditioning to get ready for his rookie minicamp after the draft. 

Jackson is expected to be a late-round pick on Saturday. D1 can't wait to see where he lands!
