Two Local Pro Athletes Put In Work At D1 Marietta Before Heading To NFL Training Camp | D1 Daily

You never know who'll show up at a D1 Training facility.

And with the NFL season being right around the corner, some players made D1 Marietta their top choice to get ready for the season.

First, Tennessee Titans tight end Chig Okonkwo dropped in. Okonkwo, who is from the Atlanta area and is entering his fourth NFL season, is looking to break out this fall with new rookie quarterback Cam Ward.

Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Jalen Royals also stopped by D1 Marietta to get in some work. Royals also is from the Atlanta area and was a fourth-round pick out of Utah State.

For D1 Marietta owner Larry James, getting NFL players in his gym means his hard work is paying off.

"When NFL players choose D1 Marietta, it speaks volumes," he said. "It means they trust our process, our people, and performance model to keep them sharp."
