Tristan De Jong from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits recently stopped by D1 Training Greenville for another edition of “Get Fit With The 'Bits.”

De Jong teamed up with D1 Greenville head coach Matt Wendling for the latest edition, highlighting proper form and practical applications for the single-arm bench press.

“I like doing variations of the bench press a lot,” said De Jong, a defenseman. "It contributes to shot power, and … having the core strength involved with the single arm power will help benefit me on the ice."

The Greenville Swamp Rabbits are an ECHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings and feature a roster full of players working for their shot at the NHL.

De Jong is far from the only Swamp Rabbit to step foot on D1 Greenville's turf.

The team is partnered with D1 Greenville, and they recently mic'd up forward Jack Brackett for a team workout. The team consistently posts the team's workouts on its social media.

Even the mascot got in on the D1 fun, spinning the wheel at D1's table at one of the team's games.
