Training Tips Done Right with D1: Recovery

In this video, Coach Jay from D1 Training Hulen demonstrates 3 tips to make the most of your recovery day after a long week of workouts at D1.

  1. Participate in an active recovery. Move your body, but nothing strenuous. This could be playing golf, cleaning the house, walking the dog, etc.
  1. Eat your macros. Keep up a balanced diet of protein, complex carbs, and healthy fats.
  1. Stretch! Target sore muscle groups. Perform active or dynamic stretches to soothe the work you’ve done and get you ready for the next week.
