  • “The facility makes you feel like an athlete. It’s impeccably clean, and the staff is incredibly kind and helpful. While it might seem intimidating at first, it’s a program you can take at your own pace! D1 has completely transformed my perspective on training. Ten years ago, I was all about cardio, but a severe back injury from an accident changed everything. For five years, my options were pain management injections or surgery. In January 2023, I decided to give D1 a try. The trainers and George, the owner, were initially unsure how to start me off because the 6-week challenge was too intense for my condition. So, I opted for 1-on-1 training for six weeks to get my body moving and stretched before starting the challenge. My husband and I completed the challenge, and for the first time in 10 years, I began lifting weights, jogging short distances, and doing standing abdominal exercises. I could feel the program changing my life. I’m a proud and grateful mom of two young children, with an incredibly supportive husband who has helped me through the past two years. Today, I walk over 40 miles a week, attend classes 5-6 times a week, play paddle and volleyball again. I couldn’t be happier or prouder to be part of the D1 Fairport community. First and foremost is the fact that if you are truly committed to your health, you will absolutely see results with the workouts. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming! I need some alternatives to some of the exercises and I really appreciate that there's always an option for me to continue to work with the group just tweeking things slightly. I travel over the summer and I am a full-time teacher. So I can't always come as often as I would like, but every time I return, I feel back at home so much better overall!”

The facility is spacious, clean and has a nice assortment of equipment. The staff has been great. They are always welcoming, willing to assist with any questions one may have and make you feel comfortable being there.”

  • “I went in for my first free workout. I let Kelley know upfront I am not fit for the type of class that landed for scheduling that free workout. But I told her I was willing to at least try. I expected support over the phone but not the continuation of support being there. The gentleman doing the class, I think his name was Andy, was phenomenal. I think communication is always key. I let him know would I could and could not do. He did not miss a beat in accommodating me where there was a need. He also made sure he circled back throughout the entire class to make sure I was ok. The people taking the class were also very supportive as well. It is a good bunch there. Also, the music was great. The only reason I would not be returning is I am looking for specific workout needs that they do not service. Otherwise, if you are looking for somewhere just to begin a regimen; I would totally recommend D1. They were awesome.”
