Dodgers Pitcher River Ryan Hosts Youth Development Clinic At D1 Mooresville | D1 Daily

MLB pitcher River Ryan is in the midst of hosting a five-week baseball development clinic at D1 Mooresville in North Carolina.
The Los Angeles Dodgers' up-and-comer missed all of 2025 while recovering from Tommy John surgery and has been doing some offseason rehab workouts at D1.
He looks to bounce back and help bring a third consecutive World Series Championship to the Dodgers in 2026, and his numbers from 2024 suggest good things are on the horizon. Across four MLB appearances and 20.1 innings, he racked up 18 strikeouts and sported a stellar 1.33 ERA.
Although this year's program is already underway, D1 Mooresville staff said they plan to do it again next year.
“It's very satisfying to partner with elite/world champion athletes who want to give back to the local community, where they can inspire the next generation of athletes,” said D1 Mooresville owner Matt Jones.
After the development clinic ends, Ryan will be off to spring training in Glendale, Ariz., with the Dodgers.
