D1 Combine Training Athlete Jayden Loving Stuns NFL Scouts At Wake Forest Pro Day | D1 Daily

Wake Forest's Jayden Loving had a fantastic showing at his pro day following his time in the D1 Combine Training Program, led by Clif Marshall.
Loving followed fellow D1 Combine Training members and defensive linemen Zaylin Wood and Landon Robinson as players who had great pro days.
Jayden Loving's Performance
Loving has a very similar athletic profile to Wood, and the two performed equally impressively.
Loving, a 6'2, 317-pound defensive tackle, posted numbers that would have topped the NFL Scouting Combine leaderboards.
His 7.15-second L-cone time and his 4.53-second pro agility time both would have ranked first among defensive tackles at the combine, and his 4.78-second 40-yard dash, his 35-inch vertical jump, and his 33 reps on the 225-pound bench would have ranked second.
Loving's performance shows his rare blend of speed and strength, and Wake Forest sportswriter Griffin Lamphier said he caught a lot of eyes at the pro day.
With these results, it's clear that Clif Marshall got his guys prepared to perform their best, and the defensive tackles especially are showing a lot of promise.
The 2026 NFL Draft is April 23-25 in Pittsburgh. Stay tuned to D1 Daily for more updates on all our D1 athletes.
