Inside the D1 Deerfield Beach Pre-Draft Program Led by Ex-NFL WR Chris Chambers | D1 Daily

D1 Training continues to build a reputation as a destination for elite athlete development, and nowhere is that more evident than at D1 Deerfield Beach’s Pre-Draft Program, led by owner and former NFL wide receiver Chris Chambers.
With more than a decade of experience directing pre-draft combine training, Chambers has helped shape a program focused on preparing athletes for the most important stretch of their football careers. In 2026, that vision took a major step forward with the official co-branding of the Gameface Florida Combine Program with D1 Deerfield Beach, marking a new era of collaboration and performance.
“The overall philosophy of the pre-draft program is to get and keep athletes as healthy as possible, minimize risk and maximize each player's ability to perform at the highest level during the combine and at pro days within an 8-to-10 week window,” said Chambers. “For most of our athletes, the main objective is to earn an opportunity with an NFL team, whether as a draft pick, priority free agent or at minimum a camp invite.”

Despite rebuilding the program with a new team and location, Chambers noted significant progress from last year, with smoother operations and growing momentum.
Top performers from the 2026 program included WR EJ Williams (Indiana), DB Jojo Evans (Louisville), and DB Jake Jarmolowich (Colorado State), all of whom translated strong training into impressive Pro Day results.

Evans was another great success story. At his pro day, he finished with a 4.49 40-yard dash, a 38.5-inch vertical leap and a 10-foot-5 broad jump and finished with 21 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.
