Former NFL Running Back Jeremy Langford Trains, Teaches Youth Athletes At D1 Novi | D1 Daily

While recently-graduated Michigan State running back Elijah Tau-Tolliver is training at D1 Cool Springs with Clif Marshall in the D1 Combine Training program, another ex-Spartan is also working with D1.
Jeremy Langford, the former Chicago Bears and Atlanta Falcons running back, now trains at D1 Novi near his MSU alma mater.
“It reminded me of when I was training for the NFL,” Langford said. “I like that.”
Although Langford has only been with D1 for about a month, he fits right in at the 5-month-old Novi facility.
“As far as everything with the equipment, it's all up-to-date,” he said. “[D1 Novi is] brand new, and I've definitely enjoyed it.”
Langford has a plethora of football experience. Before his time in the NFL, Langford was a standout running back at Michigan State. Across his junior and senior seasons, he tallied 40 rushing touchdowns and over 3,000 total yards.
In the biggest game of career, Langford performed his best. He led the Spartans to a 42-41 victory over Baylor in the 2015 Cotton Bowl with his 162-yard, three-touchdown performance.
Now, he uses that experience to train the next generation of athletes one-on-one and takes the time to connect with fans.
Although Langford is currently planning a move, he said he's looking forward to continuing his work with D1, even if it is at a different location.
