Rookie
Introduces young athletes (ages 7-11) to the fundamentals of movement.
CONFIDENT MOVEMENT STARTS HERE
Rookie Training at D1 is where young athletes (ages 7-11) build the foundation for everything that comes next. Instead of rushing into advanced movements, we focus on teaching proper mechanics first - how to run, jump, land, balance, and change direction safely and efficiently. By developing these core movement patterns early, athletes gain confidence while reducing risk of injury and avoiding bad habits that are hard to break later on.

WHAT YOUR ATHLETE WILL LEARN
Every athlete is met at their individual starting point. Our coaches guide them through progressions and regressions in real time, ensuring each workout is both challenging and achievable. In a high-energy, supportive environment, athletes improve coordination, body control, and overall athleticism all while having fun and building a lifelong love for training. Athletes will learn:

Build Movement Confidence
Learn proper positions and movement patterns
Begin to understand how their body moves and responds
Develop coordination and body awareness
Build confidence through repetition and coaching

Introduction to the Weight Room
Rookie athletes are gradually introduced to the training environment, including:
- Learning how to move safely in the weight room
- Understanding basic movement standards
- Being exposed to foundational exercises in a controlled setting
The focus is not on intensity, it’s on learning and building a strong foundation.
