D1 Training National Challenge 2026: Here Are Individual Champs, Plus Top 10 Facilities | D1 Daily

After six weeks of commitment, competition, and community, the 2026 D1 Training National Challenge has officially come to a close—and the results are in.
From March 2 through April 11, athletes across the D1 network showed up, put in the work, and pushed themselves to new limits. Built as a community-driven challenge, the National Challenge is designed to develop stronger habits, improve performance, and create accountability through structured programming and weekly micro-challenges.
Whether it was early mornings, late nights, or extra reps when no one was watching, this year’s challenge proved one thing: progress is earned.
How the Challenge Worked
Over the course of six weeks, participants followed programming designed by D1’s National Training Panel while earning points through both performance and consistency:
- 1 point per class attended (max 5 per week)
- 1 point per percentage of body fat lost
- 1 point per percentage of muscle gained
- 1 point per weekly social media post
The format ensured that athletes of all fitness levels could compete, improve, and be recognized—because at D1, every win counts.
Overall Facility Winner
The competition across all locations was fierce, but one facility stood above the rest.
D1 Mandeville has officially been crowned the 2026 D1 National Challenge Overall Facility Winner.
With the highest number of active challengers, the Mandeville community brought unmatched energy, consistency, and accountability throughout the six-week challenge. Their collective effort set the standard and earned them the top spot on the national leaderboard.
Top 10 Facilities
A huge congratulations to the facilities that rounded out this year’s Top 10:

- D1 West Nola
- D1 Gulf Breeze
- D1 Hendersonville

Individual National Champions
Out of hundreds of competitors nationwide, two athletes rose to the top and earned the title of National Champion.
• Tia Gendusa (D1 West Nola)
• Jake Payne (D1 East Woodlands)
Their results reflect six weeks of discipline, focus, and relentless effort. From body composition improvements to consistent attendance and engagement, both champions exemplified what it means to commit to the process and finish strong.
“This challenge pushed me to show up for myself in a way I hadn’t before,” Tia said. "Balancing workouts and a busy life wasn’t easy, but it taught me that consistency, proper nutrition, and daily steps really do build results one brick at a time. Thank you to all the coaches at D1 West Nola for being my support system in the gym.”
“I have had the absolute pleasure of meeting some extraordinary people at D1 East Woodlands,” Jake said. “Now that I've finally learned the ropes I can finally continue onto greatness. I loved every minute of my experience. I am glad to finally say that I no longer feel insecure over my physique.”
More Than a Challenge
While the National Challenge celebrates top performers, its true impact goes far beyond rankings and prizes.
It’s about the habits built over six weeks.
The accountability created within each facility.
The confidence gained through showing up—again and again.
From first-time participants to seasoned athletes, the 2026 National Challenge showcased the power of community and the results that come from consistent effort.
