The results of the 2026 D1 Training National Challenge continue to roll in, and now it’s time to recognize the athletes who made the most dramatic body composition transformations over the six-week competition.

From March 2 through April 11, competitors across the country committed to the process—showing up consistently, dialing in their habits, and pushing their performance. While every participant made progress, a select group rose to the top in two key categories: body fat loss and muscle gain.

Top Body Fat Lost

These athletes led the way when it came to cutting body fat and improving overall composition:

🥇 Brian Suellentrop | D1 West Wichita

"D1 has helped me be the best version of myself physically over the past year. I still have a ways to go but it is amazing seeing the specific results on the InBody machine that quantify the effort I put in. I love the community that I am a part of.”

🥇 Terri McGraw | D1 Virginia Beach

“I have been having a grand time being a part of D1 Training Virginia Beach. The mindset and discipline that I have built since being there has been extraordinary, and has pushed me to do great things, like joining the D1 National Challenge."

Top Muscle Gained

Building lean muscle takes focus, effort, and intention—and these two competitors delivered:

🥇 Shania Williams | D1 Huntsville

“A quote that I would remind myself during this whole process is ‘Working out is more mental than it is physical, mental change has to happen first before the physical changes and to take one day at a time because you are on your own journey.'"

🥇 Nathan DeMelo | D1 Mandeville

[Editor's Note: No quote given.]

The D1 National Challenge isn’t just about competition; it’s about transformation. These athletes committed to the details, embraced the grind and earned their results.

From fat loss to muscle gain, their success stories reflect the core of what D1 Training is all about: accountability, consistency, and real, measurable progress.

Congratulations again to all of our winners—and to every athlete who took on the challenge and finished stronger than they started.
