D1 Locations Participate In Memorial Day Murph | D1 Daily

D1 Daily is a curated list of anecdotes and links with an eye towards training. The suggestion box is open.
This Memorial Day, D1 locations across the country joined together in a challenging workout to honor those who died while serving in the U.S. military.
The Memorial Day Murph is a workout honoring Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL who was killed in Afganistan in 2005 and was posthumously given the Medal of Honor.
The workout consists of:
• 1 mile run
• 100 Pull-Ups
• 200 Push-Ups
• 300 Air Squats
• 1 mile run
• An optional 20-pound vest as Murphy frequently wore one during his workout
Each D1 location also offered modifications to the workout so that everyone who wanted to participate could, regardless of their fitness goals or journeys.
